has decided to forgive all of the debts of everybody in Bedford Falls.
He will announce at this party that henceforth
he will be a kinder and gentler Henry F. Potter.
The party will be hosted by lowly, unimportant George Bailey
and his lovely wife, Mary Bailey.
Mr. George Bailey is the sole owner of the nearly defunct
Bailey Building & Loan,
which Henry F. Potter has offered to buy at a fair price.
